NJSPBA President Colligan Endorses Cryan for State Senate

WOODBRIDGE- New Jersey State Policemen's Benevolent Association President Patrick Colligan today released the following statement endorsing County Sheriff Joseph Cryan’s campaign to represent the 20th Legislative District in the State Senate. Cryan announced his candidacy after Senator Raymond Lesniak stated that he will be running for Governor and following declarations of support from Chairman Jerry Green, Elizabeth Mayor J. Christian Bollwage and 20th District Assembly members Annette Quijano and Jamel Holley.

“Whether as Undersheriff, an Assemblyman or as Sheriff, Joe Cryan has always been a friend to law enforcement,” said PBA President Pat Colligan.  “Sheriff Cryan understands the difficulties and dangers our members are confronted with each day and he has always been willing to work with us towards the common goals of keeping our streets safe and our neighborhoods protected.  I consider Joe a friend and intend to do everything possible to help get him elected and back down in Trenton in the State Senate fighting for the working men and women of the PBA.”
