Michael has been a Sheriff's Officer in the Law Enforcement Division of the
Monmouth County Sheriff's Office since September of 1990.
Prior to that he served in the Correction's Division, starting in January of 1988.
In 1987 He worked as a Special Police Officer Class II in Seaside Heights, N.J.

As a member of P.B.A. Local no. 314 he has served as:
Sergeant at Arms (92-94)
Vice President(94-96)
 President (96-98)
and has held the position of State Delegate since 1998.

As State Delegate he is assigned to the following Committees:

Assistant webmaster (00-02)

Appointed to the State Executive Board in 2004 and currently a Vice President.

Michael and his wife Anna-Marie have two girls and live in Farmingdale, N.J.
